New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Magnolia affirms the Holy Bible as the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God. We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe God the Father is the Creator and Sustainer of all things, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love. He sovereignly rules over His creation and graciously provides salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man, who lived a sinless life, died for the sins of humanity, and was raised from the dead. Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
We believe in the work of the Holy Spirit in convicting sinners, regenerating believers, indwelling and sealing every believer at the moment of salvation, and sanctifying them throughout the Christian life. We affirm the importance of living a life in obedience to Scripture and growing in spiritual maturity through the power of the Holy Spirit.
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship, preach the Gospel, make disciples, and serve others in love and truth.
We believe that marriage is God’s design and is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, established for life. We are committed to upholding the biblical teaching on marriage with both truth and love.
