Pastor Emmanuel L. Shephard has a heart for ministry and a passion for serving the community. He has been married to his wife, Crystal, since 2007, and together they are blessed with four beautiful daughters: Aniyah, Cydni, Kymber, and Emmersyn. His family is at the center of his life, providing support and joy as they navigate the journey of faith together.
Pastor Shephard is from Katy, Texas, but his spiritual foundation was laid at True Light Missionary Baptist Church in Houston, where he experienced salvation, baptism, and marriage. This church has been instrumental in shaping his faith and commitment to ministry. His roots in this community have instilled in him a desire to serve and uplift those around him
Pastor Shephard holds a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Communications from Prairie View A&M University and furthered his education with a Master of Theology (ThM) from Dallas Theological Seminary. His commitment to understanding and sharing God's Word is evident in his approach to teaching and preaching.
Pastor Shephard answered his call to ministry in 2015 and served as the Pastor of Education at Life Changer Community Church (Katy, Texas), where he dedicated himself to deepening the faith of his congregation. In addition to his pastoral work, he brings a unique perspective to ministry as a Police Sergeant with the Houston Police Department and an Associate Chaplain for the department. This background has equipped him with valuable insights into the challenges faced by both individuals and communities, enhancing his ability to provide compassionate leadership.
Known for his expository preaching philosophy, Pastor Shephard is dedicated to teaching Scripture in a way that is both practical and relevant to everyday life. He aims to help others understand and apply the truths of the Bible, fostering a deeper relationship with God.
